A note from the artist:
My name is Jibreel Hakim and I’m an Artist from Brooklyn, New York. I started DJing when I was like 12 then I slowly started making beats in 2015. I didn’t start rapping until like 2017, that was the same time I started taking all the creative endeavors I was chasing seriously. I use the alias Spacerace as it is sort of a double entendre meant to represent the solar system flying through space, as well as to represent the idea of looking at race through a macro perspective, viewing all as one. Through my music, I hope to be as genuine and as real as possible, and inspire others and do the same. I hope through my music, listeners understand they aren’t alone going through the shit they go through, and I hope to help them realize their potential in this universe!
