“LUV U A LIL BIT” incorporates aspects of alternative R&B, lo-fi, and pop all wrapped up with heavy synths and bass strums to give it a genre-defying vibe. With nostalgic harmonies and brash samples, “LUV U A LIL BIT” is a confident, vulnerable release of post-breakup emotions.
“‘LUV U A LIL BIT is a song from when I was in a long shitty relationship that had to end, but still sought for that familiar comfort even though I knew it was toxic,” lead singer Dacey Andrada says. The track pulls inspiration from artists like Brent Faiyaz, Tyler the Creator, Big D and the Kids Table.
DACEY, pronounced DAH-SEE, has set a storm to a new age on stage, with elements of various genres; alternative R&B, lo-fi, hip-hop, neo-soul, indie and jazz all tied together by the creative edge of the lead singer.
